Summer List Check-up

Here was my original summer wish list/to do list from the beginning of June. I felt like it was time to do an update since it is crunch time and school starts here the middle of next week. I am not going back to teaching this year (nor did I last year), so it doesn't affect me tremendously. But our general schedule will change and things will pick up again with my two part-time jobs at the church and the community college.

Still on the list... to do in the next two weeks:
  • pick blueberries

Accomplished, but want to do more of before the end of summer:

  • buy local peaches
  • go to the pool
  • run and bike with my daughter

Done and checked off:

  • host birthday party
  • camp and vacation
  • read books

Relegated to be fall/winter projects:

  • sew new throw pillows for the living room
  • sew grocery bags
  • make custom wall art for daughter's room
  • host neighborhood party (fall)

Why is it that all the crafty projects didn't get accomplished? I guess it is because I was trying to take advantage of the strictly "summer" activities. That makes sense... even though I didn't realize I was subconsciously moving those to the bottom fo the priority list! Oh well, some things to look forward to doing in the colder months ahead!
