I like Christmas preparations. But what I like even better is being done with them so that I can enjoy the season. This blog, Get Ready for Christmas, is getting my rear in gear.
I've already started making shopping lists. The problem is that in my family, it is like pulling teeth to get someone to give me some ideas for them before Thanksgiving. I like to be finished shopping by then!
Last year, I waited, thinking, "I'm not working full-time. I can shop during the day when it is not so busy. I don't need to get it done early." Well, it stressed me out, and I will not be doing things that way again this year.
Anyways, this blog is about more than just shopping. It is also about decorating, being frugal, and of course - holiday entertaining! Check it out. I find it to be great motivation for keeping things simple and enjoying the goodness of the Christmas season.
