Badger Balm

I love the way this stuff smells. LOVE it.

My daughter’s doctor recommended it. I use it when I give her massages. I am supposed to give her massages to help her muscles since she used to wear a Pavlik harness for her DDH. Now, she is so squirmy it is hard to get her to lay still for a massage, though. That's a good thing!

I got it at Cracker Barrel for $5 for a tiny tin. They also carry it at Whole Foods. Since it is thick (like lip gloss) - hence the name “balm” - it helps me make sure I am giving a decent massage. You really have to rub it in. It goes a long way. This one tin has lasted 3 months already, and it is used every night.

Badger Balm is completely organic. There are different of kinds of balms for different purposes. Check them out. Or at least go smell them. :)

I have this stuff already, and forgot that it was in the drawer! Ironically I had been having issues with my daughter being tired and not being able to fall asleep. I think I'm going to break out the badger balm! Thanks for the reminder!

My 6 year old has been complaining of an aching back and asking for back rubs. (I think it's a need for attention as much as anything!) I'll make a note to look for Badger Balm...thanks for sharing your idea.
