Squeegee It!

I love/hate to squeegee. It was my husband's idea. We do it after every shower (or whoever showers last) on the shower walls and doors. It was a pain at first, but now I am used to it, and it is SO worth it. The soap scum doesn't build up, so it hardly gets dirty. I can go longer between cleanings, and since I don't have to scrub at all, I don't dread the cleanings anymore.

We have a fiberglass shower stall (or something like that) with glass doors. Our friends who have tile do it, too.

This is when I am glad my husband is a bit of a neat freak. The 30 second squeegee is one of my favorite housekeeping rules - one that actually works for me.

Try it, and be sure to be consistent!

Just for the record, I thought I should clarify that we don't use any shower spray with these daily squeegeeings, we just wipe down the water and soap that is already there - sorry if that was confusing! (Cheaper and more earth-friendly this way!)

That is such a great tip. I am going to share this with my sister who has a shower stall that would work on!

I really should do this! I hate buying and rebuying sprays (and then don't feel good about using them!)

This is a great tip and we did it all the time when we had shower doors. We stopped when we moved and have a curtain instead. But I don't remember why! I should find that squeegee and put it back on the wall!

I also use a squeegee for my 7 foot tall shower door. But, then I have a bottle of cleaner to spray on the fiberglass walls and tile above. The ingredients are: 1/2 cup white vinegar, 3 tbsp of Jet-Dry, 3 tbsp of d/w liquid. Fill the rest of the bottle with water. Give it a shake and spray after you shower. I haven't scrubbed my walls in months!
