If you read this post, you are aware of my dilemma: I want to make homemade bread, but just don't have the time. Maybe this book, Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day, will help! I read this article that got me interested by explaining how it is done. I'm excited to hopefully try it sometime soon. Maybe it will be my no-bread-maker, non-kneading, but-wanna-be-bread-making saving grace. I admit, I am skeptical that it can work for bread we would actually eat...

Interesting. I am curious about this too. Let me know what you think & I'll keep you posted on the slow cooker beans. I was going to leave out the bacon too...we'll see how it turns out.
How about a bread machine? I have a Cuisinart convection breadmaker and it makes great bread
