Slow Cooker Baby Food

Here's a helpful tip for those who make home-made baby food. If you are making a large amount of one kind of food, or if you really need to soften fruit, veggies, or meat before pureeing them, cook them in the crock-pot. Add a little bit of water and cook for a few hours or so. (Length of time depends on amount being cooked.) The will be super tender and easy to puree! I have tried this with pears, apples, chicken, and sweet potatoes. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on the fruit while it is cooking and your house will smell wonderful!
