Here's a project I'd like to try with my almost 2 year old this summer:
If I get around to it, I am going to have her fingerpaint on paper on a cookie sheet with edges (like my friend Meredith did with her daughter) to help contain the mess. Brilliant!

That's a wonderful idea! I love to make things homemade if possible to avoid all the chemicals. I have a recipe for homemade watercolor paint up on my blog today!
