Some reviews coming soon:
Soap nuts (I actually won something -thanks, Lindsay! I can't wait to try them!)
Our mattress (I love it. Especially being pregnant. And it was a reasonable price.)
Brief update:
This week has been busy getting back into the swing of things after vacation (it always is that way!) With the heat, I have not felt much like cooking, but have still wanted to eat of course. So we've had some easy meals. We have made progress on the summer to-do list, but not everything is completed, yet. Next week is our daughter's 2 years old birthday. I have 7 weeks left until the baby boy's due date... I think he is going to be much bigger than our daughter, who was just under 6 pounds at birth. Besides the normal aches, pains, and varicose veins (ew! didn't have those last time) I am doing great so far.
Thoughts:
I am thinking I might be making a lot of large dishes, or casseroles, this fall (if all goes well with the baby and all). Because, I remember after the birth of our daughter, I was not inspired to cook for several months. On top of that, dinnertime was the fussiest time of the day, of course. But with a husband and toddler (and myself) who like to eat, I am going to have to have stuff planned and ready before dinnertime or we will all be super cranky. So I might be giving a weekly or monthly cooking session a try! We'll see!

How long have you had your mattress? We looked at getting one but just never broke down and spent the money. Did you have to buy a new box spring for it?
We got our new mattress in March (I think I ordered it in Feb when there was a $100 off coupon)... some friends of ours had just gotten a platform bed and sold their boxspring to us for $25 so we use that underneath because I like higher beds. That way we could still use our old mattress and boxspring for a guest bed.
The weekly or monthly cooking sessions helped me SOOO much when I was working full time. DH and I get cranky when we're hungry so popping something in the oven is super helpful! Hope it works for you.
