I made some pumpkin puree with our little pumpkin that my almost-3-years-old buddy Preston picked out for us at the pumpkin patch. I used half of the puree to make some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. The rest is in the fridge for now. I plan to roast the seeds.

I swear we share a brain. Well, maybe not. Maybe we just both love to utilize things IN season! We chose not to carve our pumpkins this week after learning Mike got laid off - gotta make food before making decor, right?
And this weekend I was going to Google "How to make homemade pumpkin puree." Why bother? I need to check your blog before I google anything...your timing is always right up my ally!
