Do you ever notice how you can get used to not having something? I think that is what happened with us and paper napkins.
We switched to cloth napkins over the past year. However, there is a package of paper napkins in the cupboard that we purchased in July for my daughter's birthday party. They are lasting a long time. We hardly ever reach for them because we tend to forget that they are available! I guess for us, using paper napkins was an old habit that was fairly easy to end.
If you are thinking of making a change to live healthier or more frugally, give it a try. Whatever your goal is, you might be surprised how quickly you get used to it!

We just did this within the last month and the only time we bring out the napkins is when we have a lot of company. :D
We recently switched to cloth napkins, and I'm so glad we did!
That is such a great idea. I have noticed lately that we are going through tons of napkins, Seth thinks he needs at least one to two a meal! I may have to purchase some next time I see them - have any recommendations for ones that hold up well with many washings?!

I like solid colored cotton ones. Maybe you can find some on clearance or closeout? I'll admit that the switch was a bit of a pain at first, but now we are used to them.

Thank you for reminding me that we have cloth napkins tons of them and we should start using them again. It sure would save us some money
Great idea! Thanks. I've adjusted well to the canvas grocery bags...I think I'll search for some clearance napkins and give it a try. :)
This is great! :) .. I agree, it's so neat to look back and see how much we didn't need some of those paper products. I've been using only cloth for about 2 years and definitely I keep an eye out on clearance for them.
I swiched to cloth napkins awhile back. (Single person household). Today all the napkins and washcloths were in the wash (literally spinning at the time) and I spilled some coffee and actually had to tear off a sheet of paper towels! I felt so guilty!
When at Target I see a mom with a bijillion pack of paper towels in her cart and I think - Holy Cow - That'll last for 5 years!
