Now that my daughter is a crawler/cruiser, here is what I like to use for her diapers:
- Premium Chinese Prefold Diaper in the twist fold and fastened with a Snappi.
- Imse Vimse Soft Diaper Cover over top. I probably would have never tried these covers if my friend hadn't given me a newborn one as a gift. I love them. They fit my daughter well, especially around the leg holes, and are easy to use! Plus, they just look well-made. I think they are a good value for the money.
At night I use a double stuffed Happy Heiny's or Mommy's Touch Pocket Diaper.
My daughter is a super squirmer when it comes to diaper changes. But I've noticed disposables make it no easier!
I have ordered all my diaper supplies from Nicki's Diapers. I like their prices and their fast and free shipping on many items.
This simple system works for me!

Thanks for the info! I hope to cloth diaper with my next one (if there is a next). Now all I have to do is remember this post!
I've heard lots of great things about Nicki's Diapers! I'll have to try them out. I have been reading about cloth diapering over at babycheapskate this week. It is something I want to try out when our baby comes in September. Thanks for sharing!
I tried cloth with my son, but gave up because I hated the rubber pants and was terrified I was going to poke him with a pin. My SIL sent me some Snappis this time, and I got some nice diaper covers from another mom in my homeschooling group, so I'm going to give it another shot.
Thanks for stopping by! And thanks for sharing the quad blog with me! Looks neat!
This is a timely post for me. I am thinking about starting on cloth diapers when the twins are born, so I love reading about what other families use.
I recently started cloth diapering at 11 months old. I wish I had of tried it earlier and with my first born but there are vitually no resources here and have to do everything online plus have no support. Since I started blogging I have learned so much and appreciate all the info I have received.

Check out my blog! You've been tagged!
Cloth diapering has come SO far. Unfortunately, this is one area that I am not a natural mom. And this one is probably one of the biggest things I should be doing! As I dump thousands of disposable diapers into the landfill each year, I truly applaud you.
I don't change my daughter's diaper very often, does that count as helping the earth? Or am I just contributing to diaper rash and a smelly trail whereever she walks? :)
Thanks for sharing! I'm just getting in to cloth diapering. :)
Wow - a whole world I have not yet been introduced to. I might have to look into this more the next time around. You make it look very doable!
