When cleaning out/streamlining or making a purchase for your home, ask yourself:
1. Is it beautiful?
2. Is it useful?

If it is neither, don't clutter up your home with it.

We usually have a rule about keeping stuff. You need to get rid of something old when something new comes in. Any thing broken gets tossed.
Great rule, I always ask myself "do I really need it or is it useful to us. :)
