Menu Plan 11/1/10

Hello, November.

Breakfasts:
Baked (Soaked) Oatmeal
Eggs & Toast
Healthy (Soaked) Pumpkin Muffins
Cereal with Milk
Orange Juice

Lunches:
PB&J Sandwiches
Pita Chips & Hummus
Yogurt
Carrots
Crispy (Soaked) Nuts & Seeds
Apples with Dip, Pears

Dinners:
Monday - Leftovers from the weekend
Tuesday - Baked Ziti, Salad Greens
Wednesday - Leftovers
Thursday - BBQ Chicken/Pineapple/Pepperjack Quesadillas, Salad
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday - Chili & Cornbread
Sunday - Leftovers

I did really well eating "no desserts" the first 3 weeks of October.  This past week, not so much.  I got past the point of caring.  But the thing is, when I was doing well, I felt great and didn't miss them!  Woo-hoo!  I liked this challenge... so much, that I might resume it indefinitely after this weekend...  Am I crazy?  Check out this article on Food Addiction.

And, surprise, surprise... the bonus was that I didn't bomb the grocery budget by buying other snacks like I thought I would!

P.S. I made my share of treats... and quickly gave them away!!!
