A note to self:
One thing that I have learned is that a dreaded task is not going to get any better. Trying to psyche yourself up for something does not make it any more enjoyable or easier. In fact, the psyching yourself up part takes time and energy. Time and energy that could be spent tackling the chore and getting it over with.
What will make you feel better: procrastinating or getting it over with? Getting it over with wins every time. It is not going to magically go away.
So... just do it. That will make you feel best.
Could someone please remind me of this at least twice a week?

A. Men. Not only does procrastinating "the task" NOT get it done or make it any better to do later, it lingers in the back of our minds, growing heavier with each passing moment.
Why, oh why, do we torture ourselves so???
Someone needs to remind me too! :)
