My parents were in town this weekend, so we braved Old Navy all together. They wanted to look for some clothes for my daughter, and so I took advantage of the chance to shop with help (grandpa kept the stroller moving) and managed a couple good finds for myself (I've had birthday money burning a hole in my pocket!) I don't always like ON for me because the merchandise isn't the greatest quality, BUT when I hit it right (like today), it can be a fabulously cheap way to get some new, cute stuff that I've been craving.
I just had to share because there were quite some deals to be had... All the summer stuff was marked down and then was an additional 50% off the marked price. I scored a couple $4 tops for myself (thanks mom and dad!), some gold sandals and a pair of flats, plus a dress and top as a gift for a little friend who is having a birthday party in a few weeks. That would be 4 items of clothing and 2 pairs of shoes all for the low price of $22.95. (Full price would have been $85.49.) Yay!
Daughter got a spiffy new fall coat and hat, plus a super cute dress from gram and gramps, too! Then, we hit the shoe store and snagged some new shoes for g-ma. All in all, it was a good shopping trip.
