I used this method to cook a pound of bacon today to use in a breakfast dish later this weekend.
The only amendment is that mine took closer to 30 minutes to meet my satisfaction, crispy-wise.

Oh I love cooking bacon this way. My mom has been a short order cook for years and she passed this on to me. Otherwise, I wouldn't cook bacon. I hate being spattered.
