Garage Sale Bound

There is still more to add to this.  I didn't get to the linen closet, yet.  And I didn't touch my husband's stuff.  He said make a pile for him to go through.  So I did.

While purging, I try to ask myself, "If we were moving, would this be worth the effort to pack up and haul and unpack?"  (Also known as  The Beautiful/Useful Rule combined with the Have I used it in the past year? Rule)

If the answer is no, then into the garage sale pile it goes.  Doesn't mean I couldn't or wouldn't be able to use it someday...   But that is the mentality that lead me to be a packrat.  Which I used to be, before I was married.  And I don't want to be a packrat anymore.  So I am being semi-ruthless.
