I just happen to have leeks, lemons, onions, noodles, and chicken to use.
I think I'll try this soup before it gets too hot outside. Do you think it will be not nearly as good if I don't use real roasted garlic, but just use garlic powder?

I don't know that the soup would taste bad without the roasted garlic, but it would definitely taste better with it. I'd go ahead and roast the garlic, it really is worth the extra step.
