Homemade Lemonade

Unless you are a) weird and/or b) pregnant like me, save this recipe for when it is above 30 degrees outside. I wanted it today for some reason. So I bought some organic lemon juice at Costco and some sugar (regular, unfortunately) and mixed some up this afternoon. Sour and good.

Homemade Lemonade from Michele @ Frugal Granola

1/2 cup Lemon Juice
3 cups Cold Water
1/4 cup Organic Sugar

Mix lemon juice and water into a pitcher. Pour in sugar, stirring briskly to dissolve.

For Strawberry Lemonade, puree 1/2 - 1 cup of strawberries, and stir into lemonade. Serve with ice, if desired.

That means I like sugar, but am DEFINANTLY (okay, very very very unlikely) not pregnant. :)

Lemonade still sounds good, but I have to say that it definantly must be the hormones if you're actually making the lemonade on such a cold day!!!

I hope tommorow is warmer!

That's funny that two of our Thrifty Green Thursday participants wrote about lemons today! Now I want to plant a dwarf lemon treen and make my own lemonade.

Thanks for the thrifty tip!

Yumm! I'm going to start searching for some organic lemon juice in the short run and prepare to plant a few lemon trees in the future. The strawberry variety sounds especially delicious! Thanks for joining us this week for Thrifty Green Thursday!

I make homemade lemonade a lot! I just served it last month at girls night out :)

I'm weird, I guess... LOL

Not that I ever doubted it.
