Some non-paleo splurges for the weekend (eating with friends) include the chips, string cheese, and frozen rolls. I even bought deli roast beef, which is something I rarely do because it is so expensive (and processed). I mean seriously, at $6 a pound, I might as well buy steak. But if I am going to buy deli meat (for convenience sake), we like roast beef :) The cake mixes were on sale and I can use them when I make treats for church or something.
Other stuff I like:
I want to try this salad dressing.
I like Megan's tip for using a cake pan when traveling with little children.
This rhubarb oatmeal pie looks not-too-complicated for me.
I am going to read this book soon.
Have a good weekend!

Just curious as to what you use for sunscreen. I am trying to choose my new sunscreen of the summer, thinking about badger. I am allergic to every sunscreen I have ever tried- head to toe bumpy, itchy rash. I am also concerned about putting all those chemicals on my girls.
Good question. When I buy more, I think I am going to try Badger, too. Seems to get good reviews and not quite as expensive as some others. We don't use a ton of sunscreen, but definitely do when we are in full sun in the mid-day, especially my little guy. Last year I bought some Nature's Gate mineral sportblock because it was on sale at Whole Foods. I works well, but is a little thick to put on and sometimes looks white-ish when on. I'm still using it on the kids. I've always used coppertone sport for myself, but I think it is one of the bad ones according to the skindeep database, so I probably won't replenish it once it is gone. I'm still using it even though it is a couple years old (!!)
